This command looks through a Dynodex file and finds records that are exact duplicates. Dynodex displays the number of duplicates found and gives you three choices: delete the duplicates, select the involved records to view them, or cancel. You can let Dynodex automatically delete all duplicates according to the rules below.
Delete duplicate rules:
• An "exact duplicate" has the exact same Business, First Name, Last Name, and Address fields.
• If duplicates are found, the duplicate record(s) with the oldest modification date(s) will be deleted.
• If you delete a series of records in error, you may immediately choose "Revert to Saved" to return to the last saved version of your file.
To delete duplicates manually:
NOTE: An alternative way to delete duplicates is to scroll through the "Just Phones" list, find duplicates, and manually delete them with the "Delete Record" command.
